Who doesn’t love fresh pizza? Try making your own dough at home in only a few minutes. Just measure out the ingredients, stir together and wait. Let the dough rest and grow overnight or for at least 4 hours. Then you will be rewarded with the best pizza dough that only took two minutes to stir together.
So Easy Whole Wheat Pizza Dough
Makes enough for two large pizzas
3 cups of whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of active dry yeast1 1/4 cup of lukewarm water
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and stir together until all of the dry ingredients have been mixed in. This may take a little bit of work to make sure all of the flour is off of the bottom of the bowl. Let the dough sit overnight or for at least 4 hours.
Divide the dough into two pieces and start rolling out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
Top with your favourite toppings and cook in a 425F oven for 15 minutes.
This dough freezes fantastic, just wrap it up tight and use it within three months.
